President of Côte d’Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara, received on Monday in Abidjan a Moroccan delegation led by minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water, Abdelkader Amara, and Chairman of the Marchica Med's board of directors, Said Zarrou.

During this hearing, which was attended Morocco’s ambassador to Côte d'Ivoire, Abdelmalek Kettani, the Moroccan delegation briefed President Ouattara and members of the Ivorian government on the progress of the Cocody Bay rehabilitation project.

"There is no alternative to dialogue" for the Euro-African partnership on migration and development, Morocco’s minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, said Wednesday in Marrakech.

Dialogue is the only way to support the new mobility standards, making the migrant a central player in the Euro-African space, Bourita said at the opening of the 5th Euro-African Ministerial Conference on Migration and Development.

Secretary of State for Water Charafat Afilal said, Monday in Rabat, that 96.5% of the Moroccan population has access to water that meets the standards of the World Health Organization (WHO).

In response to a central question on "expanding access to clean water in rural areas" at the House of Representatives, Afilal highlighted Morocco's achievements in this area, adding that the supply rate has increased in two decades from 14% to 96.5% currently.
