HM the King Chairs Official Launch Ceremony of Construction of 'Mohammed VI Tower'

HM King Mohammed VI chaired, on Thursday on the right bank of Bouregreg (Sale prefecture), the official launch ceremony of the building works of the "Mohammed VI Tower", which symbolizes the Bouregreg Valley economic boom.

On this occasion, BMCE CEO Othman Benjelloun gave a speech before the Sovereign in which he expressed the wish that HM the King names the tower after himself.

Morocco has improved its ranking in the World Bank's Doing Business 2019 report, published Wednesday in Washington, to 60th position worldwide.

In the MENA region, Morocco ranks second in this report, considered as the reference document on the global business environment, behind the United Arab Emirates (11th worldwide) and ahead of Bahrain (62nd), according to a statement by the department of the head of government.

In Africa, the Kingdom is in third place behind Mauritius (20) and Rwanda (29).
